Email Setup Instructions

 

Outlook 2010 - Watch Instruction Video

 

These instructions apply for Outlook/Outlook Express and Windows Mail. While the exact location of where each item goes looks a little different among the many different versions, the settings are essentially the same.

 

1) Click TOOLS then EMAIL ACCOUNTS

2) Choose to ADD or create a NEW account

3) Choose POP as your email type, or click MANUALLY CONFIGURE and click NEXT


Enter the following settings:

Name Enter Your Name
Email Address Enter Your Address (e.g.  johndoe@mywebsite.com
Login/Username Enter your Entire Email Address (e.g. johndoe@youwebsite.com)
Password Enter your email password
Incoming POP Server mail.yourwebsite.com  (Replace 'yourwebsite' with your website name)
For Example "mail.ineedbob.com"
Outgoing SMTP Server Enter the same as the POP Server (mail.yourwebsite.com)
   
   
   
   

Click on the OUTGOING SERVER or MORE Button and check the box for MY OUTGOING SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION

 

Click on the ADVANCED tab and change the OUTGOING port from 25 to 587

 

Save these settings.

Your mail is now setup

 

You can also access your web mail at www.ineedbob.com/mail

 

 

Setting up New Email Accounts or password Changes

You will need the control panel username and password supplied to you.

Go to www.ineedbob.com/menu and log in.

Click on the EMAIL ICON

Click on Setup New E-Mail Near the bottom

Enter the Email Address

Click MAILBOX

Enter your Password

Click SUBMIT on the bottom

You're Done
