We can not connect to the company server

 

1) Turn off ALL equiptment

-This means all workstations and then the SERVER

-Then unplug the Router/Switch boxes. This is the box or boxes that the network cables are connected into.

-Wait 1 minute

-Plug the Router / Switch back in

-Wait 1 minute

-Turn on the Server, wait for it to boot up then log in

-Wait 1 minute

-Turn on the workstations one at a time and attempt to login

 

If only one workstation can not connect, there is a problem with that computer

 

If no one can connect, further investigation to the problem is required.
