How to install a printer

Always follow the manufactors instructions that came with the printer

If you do not have the instructions or this is an existing printer that has stopped working or is not being seen by the computer, try the following steps...

1) Click START then CONTROL PANEL then PRINTERS

2) If you printer is in the list of installed printers, double click it
-When it opens if there are any print jobs shown there, Right Click on them one at a time and CANCEL / DELETE them. Its normal for the last one not to disapear right away.
-Reboot the computer

-Try the printer again

3) If you printer is not show there, unplug the USB cable from your computer that connects the printer and plug it into a DIFFERENT USB PORT.

4) Wait, it can take a few minutes for Windows to find the printer and reinstall it. It may or may not ask for the CD at this time.

5) If it is not found or you can not print, a service call may be required.
