If your using our Spam Soap partner,
to filter your email you may still
be getting some spam.
The reason is while Spam Soap can
filtering email being sent to
johnsmith@yourwebsite.com, if a
spammer sends the mail to the IP address
of your mail server it cant be blocked
(e.g. 207.99.47.50)
The solution is to tell outlook not to
except any mail except that which has
gone through Spam Soap filtering first.
Here is how:
Outlook 2000:
1) Click on TOOLS then RULE WIZARD
2) Click NEW
3) Choose CHECK MESSAGES WHEN THEY
ARRIVE and click NEXT
4) Check WHEN RECEIVED THROUGH A
SPECIFIC ACCOUNT then click Specified in
the bottom box and choose your email
account. Click NEXT (there should be
only one if you only have one email
account)
5) check DELETE It and click NEXT
6) Scroll down and check EXCEPT IF THE
MESSAGE HEADER CONTAINS SPECIFIC WORDS
7) In the bottom box click SPECIFIC
WORDS
8) type mxlogic.net
9) Click ADD then click OK
10) Click FINISH and your are all done!
Outlook 2002/2003:
1) Click TOOLS then RULES AND ALERTS
2) Click NEW RULE
3) Choose START FROM A BLANK RULE on top
then click NEXT
4) Check THROUGH A SPECIFIED ACCOUNT and
click on SPECIFIED on the bottom and
choose your email account then click
NEXT
5) Check DELETE IT and click NEXT
6) Scroll
down and check EXCEPT IF THE MESSAGE
HEADER CONTAINS SPECIFIC WORDS
7)
In the bottom box click SPECIFIC WORDS
8) type
mxlogic.net
9) Click ADD then Click OK
10) Click FINISH and you are all done!
Outlook 2007:
1)
Click TOOLS then RULES AND ALERTS
2) Click NEW RULE
